We didn't make it on a "real" campout this summer, so we decided to have a backyard campout before school started. Can you tell Asher was excited about the tent?
We made foil dinners and corn on the cob, and ate outside since we were camping. ;)
Later we made a campfire and had s'mores. When it got dark, we played Flashlight Tag. The boys LOVE this game, and it's definitely more challenging in our bigger backyard.

Jack was the last to wake up. He was all snuggled up in his sleeping bag. :) I made fried scones for breakfast, like my dad used to when we camped. They were a hit, the boys devoured them. It was a very successful campout - it was one of my favorite things we did this summer!
